SouthOrd's Classic Design Jacknife. Slick, Covert, Effective.
Top Quality Lock Picking Multi-Tool Set
Sleek. Convenient. Sturdy. When you’re looking for quality jackknives, the SouthOrd JPXS 6 jackknife lock pick set is the go-to for lock pick sets. This jackknife, based on years of listening to customer needs, packs a knockout lock picking punch. The multitool lock pick set, made of durable, high-quality steel, has a sleek and compact design.
How Portable Is the SouthOrd Jackknife?
The 3.5-inch long and 0.25-inch thick SouthOrd JPXS 6 jackknife lock pick set can easily fit in your pocket. Now, you don’t have to lug around many lock pick sets in a bulky case. The carefully selected lock picks are more than enough, even for a master lock picker. Despite its small size, this JPXS 6 lock pick set compactly fits the best six tools you can possibly need in a lock pickpocket set.
Are the Tools inside the SouthOrd Jackknife Secure?
The tools inside the JPXS 6 are securely attached. For instance, you have to pull the tension tool or wrench substantially to tug it free.
From the get-go, you can see the workmanship in this JPXS 6 lock pick set. The lock-up screw is a positive addition to containing the lock picks included in the set. The series of well-thought straight ridges on the knob, also known as having a knurled stainless steel design, allows for a reliable grip. And there's a rubber o-ring to stop the lock-up screw coming loose when in use and in your pocket or key-chain.
The tools and other parts of the jackknife complement one another. We know that you have to do a series of practiced wiggles and tugs to pick locks. While some locks are easily opened, some are trickier than others and require more of a tugging and forceful maneuver. A durable, hard-alloy handle will see to it that these tools are securely attached and will not easily break.
What Are the Lock Picks inside the Jackknife?
The tempered stainless steel lock picks are a great combination. The tools included are the half diamond, half ball, hook, S rake, rake, and an extractor, all neatly stowed into a mirrorlike chrome casing.
Among the extractors, the half-diamond tool is more common than the full diamond one is. A must-have in a lockpicker’s set, this tool is usually used for retrieving broken keys from locks. Broken keys are usually no match against the skills of an expert lock picker. With reliable tools, it’s hard to find a lock you can’t open.
For the more stubborn wafer locks, there is a half-ball tool for picking these. One of the more popular tools within the set is the hook pick, typically used for single-pin picking.
Lock picks are not complete without rakes. Also known as the best tool for beginner lockpickers, rakes are a staple. As for the rakes included in the set, the S rake, or the snake rake, is a favorite in the lockpicking community.
Even the more expert lock pickers still use various kinds of rakes. There is also a longer rake included. With a series of tugs and twists, you hear the pins click into place.
