Description

SouthOrd 7-Pin Tubular Lock Pick & Decoder Key

This advanced tubular lock pick makes lock picking as simple as using the key.

How to Use Tubular Lock Picks with Ease

Tubular locks are high-security locks designed to make picking difficult. The pins are set in a circle with the key being a tube-like item with the cuts around the outside.

This 7-pin tubular lock pick is a tube with several blades around the outside, each corresponding to a pin in the lock. When this tubular lock pick is inserted into the lock, the pins cause a resistance, causing the blades to set at different levels. When fully inserted into the lock, the different levels of the blades will look exactly like the correct key—it's like a skeleton key for tubular locks.

These premium SouthOrd 7-pin tubular lock pick sets have set the standard for tools that make picking even tubular locks with higher spring pressures easy and quick. They are almost as simple to use as a key!

  • Press the 7-pin tubular lock pick on a flat surface to ensure the “blades” are all level.
  • Insert the lock pick into the lock.
  • Gently push your 7-pin tubular lock pick while lightly turning left and right.
  • The lock opens!

The SouthOrd 7-pin tubular lock pick has an:

  • inner diameter of .316/318 inches (8.02 - 8.07mm)
  • outer diameter of .370 inches (9.39mm)

This 7-pin tubular lock pick has a slip-resistant rubber handle and comes with a decoder key so you can have a new key cut once you’ve picked the tubular lock.

In nearly 20 years of lock picking, I have never seen a more effective tool.  This 7-pin tubular lock pick is elegant, crafty, and simple to use. Doesn't life feel great when things work so well? This precision tool is quite simply the ultimate answer to picking tubular locks.

Average time to open a lock with a SouthOrd 7-pin tubular lock pick: 4 seconds

The 7-, 8-, and 10-pin tubular locks all have the same size keyway—just a different amount of pins. However, due to the different spacing of the pins, you require a different tubular lock pick for each pin quantity.

This 7-pin tubular lock pick makes opening these locks as simple as using the key.

IMPROVED!

The adjustable tubular manipulation pick TPXA-7 includes a solid removable/replaceable guide pin.  Though a guide pin is unnecessary to pick tubular locks, it assists in picking by lining up the tubular lock pick in the lock effectively.  The new solid guide pin can be removed by the user for use in tubular locks that do not have the corresponding notch cut in the core, where normally a guide pin would fit.  And the new solid guide pin can be replaced by the user, should replacing the pin become necessary (replacement parts sold HERE).
